We are developing our own smart home & IoT devices based on Z-Wave technology sold in 15+ European countries. The company has built an ambitious, experienced and hard-working team of HW/SW engineers, investors & business development professionals from Armenia and Silicon Valley. 


Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Supply Chain Manager to contract manufacturing partners on sourcing components and parts for our Smart Home products.


Job Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, monitor the quality of service provided

  • Organize the control of manufacturing and delivery processes

  • Source the right products

  • Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met

  • Oversee product storage, handling and distribution

  • Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality

  • Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process

  • Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers

  • Manage and minimize the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain

  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams such as sales, and production

  • Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality

  • Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met - or exceeded

  • Undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements

  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy

  • Produce reports and statistics on spending and saving


Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience of working with Chinese suppliers

  • Resilience

  • Negotiation and influencing skills

  • Strong analytical planning skills

  • Numeracy and an understanding of finance for stock management

  • Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines

  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally

  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams

  • Understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain

  • A logical and systematic approach to work

  • Attention to details to ensure high levels of quality

  • Ability to communicate clearly with team and management

  • Results-driven approach to work

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Skills in Excel and the ability to handle electronic data

  • The following knowledge/experience will be an advantage

    • Technical background

    • Experience in a hardware related company

    • Experience with IoT products
