Job Description

We are looking for a detail oriented professional with passion to “Made in Armenia” products to join our growing team taking the important role of senior product manual QA engineer. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and support the best innovative and industry-leading hardware products. The job requires manual testing of the devices in both the pre- and post-release stage of the lifecycle. The testing is done by engaging with the device physically by connecting 220v power and different types of loads to the device and thoroughly testing it’s features and functionalities.


You will look for problems and bugs in the products that users may encounter, report the issues to the product development team and retest the product. As a part of the job, you will be also working with the customer support team, to analyze customer issues and provide technical solutions.


Job Responsibilities

  • Create a test plan and use case document based on the device specifications

  • Manually test the devices and detect bugs and errors

  • Connect 220v power and different types of loads to the device test the features and functionalities

  • Analyze and document the bugs and errors found during the test phase

  • Assist the customer support team by analyzing and resolving technical issues reported by users/customers

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and product development team to quickly resolve issues, ensure product quality & customer satisfaction

  • Research and compare similar competitor products

  • Participate in hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years working experience as a QA engineer

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and processes

  • Exceptional attention to details

  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

  • Good understanding of technical diagrams and power connections

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Good planning and time management skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to effectively work under strict deadlines and in a team environment

  • The following knowledge/experience will be an advantage

  • Experience with IoT products

  • Knowledge of any programming language

  • Experience working with PCBs and debugging

  • Experience in a hardware related company

  • Experience with embedded systems

  • Experience working as an electrician

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
