Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic Senior Hardware Designer (schematic & PCB layout) to support the extension of our Smart Home product line.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Research and design components and devices for Smart Home systems

• Develop IoT products and systems according to the company’s technical and functional specifications

• Work on definition, design, verification and documentation of complex analog and mixed signal circuits and PCBs

• 2-6 layers PCB layout design

• Testing of prototypes, bug fixing, current products redesign

• Maintain a user-oriented approach while defining, designing and building the hardware

• Assemble/repair the designed PCBs.

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering

• At least 7-year experience with at least 6-layer PCB layout design

• Expert knowledge of PCB Schematics design software; Altium Designer software

• Proven experience with PCB manual assembling and repairing

• Experience/understanding of basic lab test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc)

• Proven experience with device certification (UL, FCC, CE, etc)

• Proven experience with devices prototyping / production (10000+ pcs), automatic testing

• Knowledge of market trends and new technologies (new chips, components, methods for implementing circuits)

• Ability to research and study technical documentation, schematics and datasheets

• Ability to work effectively with the team in a dynamic environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Good knowledge of English language

• The following knowledge/experience will be an advantage

  • Experience with various wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM, 3G, 4G, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Mesh-Networks)

  • Experience with IoT products

  • Knowledge of C, C++ and/or micro-controller coding
