Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic Production Manager to lead and supervise the assembling process of our Smart Home products' range.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control production processes

• Ensure customer orders are produced on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met

• Plan and draw up a production schedule

• Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate

• Set the quality standards

• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed

• Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs

• Anticipate bottlenecks, clarify priorities, identify risks, and escalate issues that cannot be resolved internally

• Define all workflows, communicate documented processes, and ensure all practices are being refined and tuned with learnings

• Select the equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance

• Organize the repair of any damaged equipment

• Liaise with different departments, teams (e.g. sales, supply chain, management)

• Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals

• Collate and analyze data, putting together production reports for management

• Supervise and motivate a team of workers

• Review worker performance and identify the problems and needs

• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are always followed

 

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing a production

• Planning and organization skills to be able to run and monitor the production process

• Ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems

• Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality

• Ability to communicate clearly with team and management

• Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

• Results-driven approach to work

• Leadership skills and ability to motivate others to meet deadlines

• Good written communication skills in English

• Proficient in MS Office

• The following knowledge/experience will be an advantage

  • Technical background

  • Experience in a hardware related company

  • Experience with IoT products
