Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic mechanical engineer to support the extension of our Smart Home product line.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Create (and update) mechanical design for IoT products based on the requirements

• Print (using 3D printer) the prototype of products and test it

• Analyze the test results and change the design as needed

• Perform detailed documentation to track product development and production processes

• Oversee the manufacturing process for the products

• Prepare accurate and timely reports

• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

• Create and implement new processes to improve the efficiency

 

Required Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Mechanical Engineer for 5+ years

• Expert knowledge of SolidWorks

• Expert knowledge of different materials (plastic, glass, metal)

• Expert knowledge of molding and plastic injection processes

• Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems

• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly

• Ability to effectively work under strict deadlines

• Ability to work effectively with the team in a dynamic environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Attention to details

• Good planning, organizational and time management skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Preferred English level: B1

• The following knowledge/experience will be an advantage

  • Experience in a hardware related company

  • Experience in small IoT products design and development

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
